Apply to become a Learning2 Leader
Applications have been extended until 10. February 2020
In light of the current situation affecting many educators throughout Asia, we have extended the application process.
The two key facilitator roles are our L2 Leader – Extended Session and the L2 Leader – PreConference, who join the L2Team as the ‘face’ of the conference.
Both the Extended Session and the PreCon session, are dives into innovative practices that have practical relevance for our participants and are often underpinned by technology. Our sessions are typically led by international educators, either teachers or administrators, who are pushing the boundaries of education and recognised by their peers as innovators in their practice.
Learning2 is a conference by teachers – for teachers. We are always looking to create conference we want to attend ourselves!

Learning2 Asia 2019 @Nanijing International School
“Hosting Learning2 at NIS was a fantastic opportunity to empower student voice, showcase our inclusive learning community and offer our teachers the chance to present, learn, and connect with world-class professional learning.”
Kasson Bratton, Deputy Director – Learning
What does hosting Learning2 mean to the host school?
Learning2 Asia conference was proudly hosted by Nanjing International School. Learning2 is considered a leading annual conference, with a mission to “innovate social learning globally.” This fits right in with our forward-thinking Mission and Strategy. The conference was spread over three days with a targeted pre-conference session on Thursday and two main conference days on Friday and Saturday. Over 40 NIS teachers participated in these sessions, with many facilitating teacher-led workshops, running Extended Sessions, and giving L2 talks. NIS had another 60 staff, students, and parents, along with our amazing facilities team, working to make sure the conference ran to our usual world-class standard. Perhaps the highlight of L2 Asia at NIS was the fact that 20 of our students led workshops for teachers, delivered amazing speeches, and inspired participants throughout the conference. Student voice was alive and well!
The theme of the conference was “ConnectED” and hosting conferences such as this does exactly that, helping our school remain connected to the forefront of innovative teaching and learning for the benefit of our students, teachers, and entire school community. – by NIS
