Who are we Learning for? (MS HS)

“Why are we learning this?” How many times have you heard this question from students? What was your response? Mine was, “Well you never know when you will need it.” or “Well just think, you are now more knowledgeable and less likely to be fooled.” But our students are right, Why are we learning this? Why do we have to wait until some point in the future to apply this content? In order for students to see the value of what they are learning, they need to know who they are learning for; they need to know their client. In this session, participants will learn how to make their content relevant and applicable to their students NOW.
